OK, since I am the worst blogger ever, I will do a recap.. albeit a very simple and quick one. I think I've said it before, but New Year's Resolution- keep up with the blog. I have decided I wanted to get back into journaling, so what better place than here! (Let's hope it sticks).
I think my last post was Canada and that was in July…
In August we had some pool days….
Did some crafting….. Jordan helped me make a giant chalkboard..
Which Sawyer loves :)
We also got a Pedo-Bridge for Sawyer's tooth that got knocked out when she was just over 1. If you remember, her 3 teeth got knocked back up, and one popped out. Wasn't really a problem until her front tooth slowly started moving sideways, and so to fill the gap and to prevent any problems with spacing, my Uncle Rod made a fake tooth piece that attaches to her molars and so now she has a little fake tooth (to the left of her Left front tooth)…. Was not a happy camper getting that put in, and does not like going to the dentist, but at least my Uncle could donated his time and talents for us, and it was not expensive :) Thanks again Uncle Rod!!!
She also got the entire group of Peter Pan characters… lost boys and all and still enjoys playing "Follow the leader" with them
And of course lots of Beach days :)
September…
More beach...
Lots of Disneyland...
Sawyer and I got to tag along on one of Jordan's Business Trips to San Francisco
and see the beautiful Oakland Temple
I had a fun belated Birthday Dinner with girlfriends
And we started a playgroup with a few friends every Tuesday for 2 hours.. a nice time to catch up, and maybe head out and run a few errands alone :)
October
This was a fun month. Sawyer LOVES Halloween and anything pumpkin! I also love that my sweet crazy girl insisted on being Peter Pan! Crazy how they can know exactly what they want at such a young age :) All month long she wore Jordan's costume from the last year
More Playgroup….
and more…..
more playgroup with Sawyer's favorite thing… pumpkins!
again, more beach days (with ice cream)!
F.(friend) H.E at the pumpkin patch
and my sweet baby turned 2!!!! Here she is looking so big!!!
We had a very fun and low key party at the beach, complete with a treasure hunt
and fancy cupcakes
My dad ran his first marathon on her actual birthday.. So proud of him!!!
So I didn't have time to do a super fancy cake, but since I made some pretty cute sand/shell beach cupcakes, this had to do
and of course more Disneyland :)
and I made Sawyer her own Peter Pan costume.. just her size, and Daddy and I went as Lost Boys
Probably our biggest news of October was finding out Baby #2 was on the way!!
I told Jordan at our Family Picture Photo shoot! Such a fun way, and so glad to have his first reaction on camera :)
and here are some more of our photoshoot….
November
Surprise!!! More Beach ;)
More Disneyland….
Not loving Santa….
Big Boogers ;) Bahahaha
And a Thanksgiving morning Football game
December
More Crafting….
Love my chalkboard fabric banner… Can be used over and over for any occasion!
My glitter reindeer….
Santa aint so bad with a candy cane in your hand ;)
Awesome Cousin Jordie visited… she really loved this kid!
Grandma Special and Grandpa Bruce were lots of fun too! I can't believe we did 3 FULL Disneyland days in a row!!!!
Some silly baking….
Yet another Santa attempt with the cutest little Christmas Dress (Thanks Grandma Special and Grandpa Bruce)
And the best part…. Christmas Morning in Arizona where we found out we were having a Baby BOY!!! Such a fun thing to have the ultrasound tech put the baby's gender in an envelope, give it to the Party City employee and have her fill the box with either blue or pink balloons and wait to open it for a Christmas Surprise!!! Millionaire Family on the way!!!!
So much more fun things happened that I know I'm missing but like I said, I'll try to do better…. next year ;)
So fun! Love you guys!
