Nanny!

Well, I got a second job as a Nanny last week, and today was my first day... It was soooo fun!! I watch 3 kids, 2 boys- 2 and 7, and a girl who is 4. I will work every Mon, Wed, and Fri from next week on, for a couple hours in the morning... I will take the oldest to school, and then play with the other 2, take them to the park, feed them lunch, and then go on to my other job at the YMCA. Long days filled with lots of kids!!! :) But today was great, I just came for one day this week to get to know the kids, and ease into it a little bit. Man, I spend 40 hours a week working with kids, AND I teach kids at church...... is the universe sending me a hint here or what!! :)

Christmas!!!

We had such an amazing Christmas.... Jordan's family flew us up to Timmins, Ontario, CANADA!!! (so wonderful of them) Our trip started off at 6:30 pm on Wednesday night, flying from San Diego, to San Francisco, then a red eye to Toronto, then to Timmins landing at 9:30am Thursday.... Thankfully all of our flights went great (with the exception of not sitting together during the long red eye, and having a middle seat with a talkative man next to you while trying to find a comfy position to sleep in without touching anyone). But we landed in Jordan's hometown on time and ready to visit with family.... I had such a great time! I absolutely love my little nieces and nephew, so stinkin cute!!!! And the holidays really are better with little ones around... I just really loved being around so much family, for a quick second I could see us moving on up to Timmins and being surrounded by family all the time.... Then I though about how last week the temperature up there was -31 degrees, and I remembered why I live in California!!! :)

But really..... Thanks to everyone up there for such a special time... Love you all so very much! Can't wait to go up there again!!! Anyways, the trip was filled with food, family, and friends, and a full blown Nativity production! Complete with super fancy costumes! SO FUN! It sure did remind me of my childhood and reading from the scriptures while acting our the story of our savior's birth on Christmas Eve.

So many wonderful memories of Christmas and I hope you all had a fantastic one! I missed my family and I hope you all had a good Christmas without me. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
