We're Having A Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the title says.... We are expecting!!!!!!!! We are so excited!!!!!! It's still a little early but we couldn't wait to share our joy!!

T.M.I Warning- Back in January we went and visited my Nana and Papa in Arizona. They bought us a Kokpelli Indian magnet. The Kokpelli is a fertility deity, and let me say it works!!!!! We got pregnant right when that magnet entered our home! :) Thanks Nana and Papa!!!

Our first ultrasound at 7 weeks

Our Second Ultrasound at 9 1/2 weeks! This was the cutest ultrasound ever! It was moving and dancing, shaking it's arms and legs.... so cute!

I am due October 25th, and we are just so excited for him or her to be here in time for all the holidays. I have been soooooo tired and sooooo nauseous ALL THE TIME!!!! I have no idea what I am doing here, so any advice would be wonderful!

HAIRCUT

For as long as I can remember I have always hated getting my haircut. I really don't know what it is but I just have a hard time with cutting my hair. For as long as I can remember I have also had to keep my hair short, either my mom always wanted it short or going to BYU i had to keep it short. I guess its just the inner surf bum in me but I always want long hair. Now being older (some may say wiser but that depends who your talking to) I realize that I should keep my hair relativly short, but it is still always hard for me to cut it. So all this being said I come to my point.

Ever since Em and I have been together I have always asked her to cut my hair. I asked this of her because I have never paid for a haircut in my life and I never intend to, and believe me this is not an easy job! I am a very picky client and I do not like to sit still for very long so it makes a haircut difficult. Well Em has become a very good little hair dresser and she always does a great job! So I guess this is my way to say thanks Em for all the great haircuts and to show off her latest masterpiece! Thanks Em love you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

When I was younger my Mom was really big on Holidays... well she still is, but for as long as I can remember, every St. Patty's Day we would have Green Dinner to celebrate! It usually consisted of Green Mashed Potatoes, Green Milk, Broccoli or Green Beans, and some type of Green Main Course. So I had to attempt this to continue on the tradition. We had Chicken Tortellini Alfredo dyed Green of course, with salad and Green grapes, and Green Garlic Bread. It was not the most appetising of dinners, but was kinda fun and silly! Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

Having Company!!!!

This past week has been a busy one!!! Jordans parents came into town, (hence being too busy to post). It has been so much fun! I will be sad to see them go :(

Anyways, one of the first things we did was go to Disneyland!!! Surprise Surprise right???

Jordan and his parents on Main Street U.S.A

Us in front of the castle.....

We ate lunch at the Golden Horseshoe where we ate fish 'n chips, and chicken tenders, and watched the hilarious "Billy Hill and the Hillbillies".... Too fun!!!!!!!!!!
We didn't take too many pictures, we were too busy having fun! But it has been a really fun week. We have really enjoyed spending time with Jordans parents and going out with them, and showing them where we live... Hope to have many more visitors!!!

ARIZONA

This past weekend we went to Apache Junction Arizona to visit my Nana and Papa!!!! We had so much fun visiting them in their cute little RV village.

Every winter these "snowbirds" make the drive down from Idaho.... I don't blame them!!! BBRRR!!

We went to this fun little place called "Tortilla Flats" I don't know why it was called that, but I do know it had yummy ice cream!!!!!!

The restaurant and ice cream shop had real dollar bills covering ever inch of the walls and ceiling.... IT WAS CRAZY!!!! People would write their names all over, there must have been thousands of dollars stapled all over.....

This place in Arizona was famous for "The Lost Dutchman", apparently he found a huge goldmine and became very rich and would kill anyone who tried to find his secret goldmine, and then one day before he died he covered it up so no one could find it, and to this day it hasn't been found... 3 people died trying to find it this past July! Anyone up for a treasure hunt?!?!?!?! :)

After that we went to a ghost town (a very lively one, there were tons of people) it was fun to see all the old buildings and mining stuff...

Us in front of the BORDELLO!!! Ooo LaLAA!

That IS EXPLOSIVE!!!!

After all our sightseeing, we went to a DELICIOUS Mexican Restaurant that used to be one of my favorites in my hometown til it closed down.... I was SOOO excited to see it there, and I'm so glad I got to eat there again!

We ended our trip by going to see the Mesa Temple.... It really is such a beautiful place and since my Nana and Papa couldn't make it out to the wedding it was nice to be able to get a picture with them in front of the temple.....

FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!!!!!!! And I am so glad we got to visit mine this weekend! Thanks for the great time Nana and Papa..... We Love You!!!!!!!

85 Degree (30 C) Weather in January!!!

This past weekend was so beautiful!!! I couldn't believe how warm it was!!!!! I wore shorts and flip flops and no jacket! So we spent our Saturday at the beach! We packed up a little picnic, the ipod, and Jordan brought his surfboard and we spent some time at the ocean.... well, my camera stinks and this is how far i could zoom in trying to get a picture of Jordan surfing, and after I looked away for one second, I could not even tell which one Jordan was! So needless to say I didnt take any pictures... How lame am I?!?!?! So i listened to my Summer time playlist and did sudoku puzzles while Jordan caught some waves... He got up a few times, I'm glad he is getting better!!! Next time I will be a better photographer and capture the amazing scenery, I guess I was just too busy enjoying it!!!! :)

2011!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! This year we rang in the new year on New York time and watched the ball drop, because we are an old boring married couple who can't stay up til midnight anymore... But it was nice to think we were celebrating the same time zone as our family on the east coast! :)

We had a fun little fondue party, just the 2 of us!

And watched the ball drop on our laptop! (please pardon our very messy apartment)

Us in our pjs very much ready to go to bed!
2010 has been a great year filled with a lot of changes..... It was pretty much split in 3rds, the first part was Jordan finishing up his last semester of school and graduating from BYU, the next was being unemployed looking for work traveling back and forth from Utah to California, and then the last part, finally getting a job, in the town that Jordan wanted to live, and moving everything away from Utah to San Clemente to start our new California life! We have been VERY blessed this year, we have great jobs (yes I have learned to like my job, and I very much like my new job as a nanny), a beautiful apartment (even when it is messy), wonderful family and friends, and we are just so excited to see what 2011 will bring us!! Lots of love in the New Year!!!!!
